Paityn's 11th Birthday October 8, 2009!!

This is Paityn's 11 year old photo. We had it taken at The Oregon Lavendar Fields in Oregon City, Oregon.








I had originally scheduled this photo shoot to be a "family photo shoot". I really wanted a new Family Photo. Maddux was in California with Danny and Judy, so I decided that Paityn and I would take photos together. Plus I really didn't think that Paul would want to drive to Oregon City at 8:00 AM!! I was just so happy that Paityn didn't have a softball tournament this weekend. So Paityn and I headed out on our journey. I took the Denali, I thought I would need the GPS and I did. I ended up driving right to the place though, I was really proud of myself!! Paityn and I were the first appointment that morning. I could tell that the day was going to be nice, but the ground was still a little muddy from the night befores rain. Paityn and I both had on white dresses with our jean jackets on. As you see I didn't pick a photo with me in it (could you imagine seeing me in a whit dress?) The session was scheduled for only 30 minutes, but Kevin (the photographer that Paityn always gets when she goes in for photos and she doesn't like him at all) had us walking all over that farm and we were out there for about 1 hour. We were both so cold and our feet were all muddy. After the shoot Paityn and I drove around a little to try and find a coffee hut, but of course...nothing. Can you believe, no coffee hut in Oregon!
When I received the photos back from Yuen Lui I was very happy. The photos turned out better than I thought they would. Once I saw this photo, my mind was made up though. This one caught my eye and there was no changing it.
