I'm a traditional kinda gal, and I want my daughter and son to grow up rooted in family traditions that they can take with them into adulthood and pass on to their own children. One of my attempts at this has been baking cookies each Christmas. My mother and Grandmother started this with my brother and I when I was very young and now I have been baking the same Christmas cookies every year. It is pretty messy, and there is lots of prep work and clean up, but it is so worth it. We always have such fun. And the results are a yummy plate of cookies for our family and friends and such sweet time spent together.If you've never done this,
I encourage you to try to find the time this year. Set aside an entire day (or 2), make some hot cocoa, pop in some Christmas music, and bake away!!
